Björneborn Laws of Web and Ranganathan's Laws of library science

During today surfing, I found the web laws of the Web by Lennart Björneborn (2004) bases on Ranganathan (1931) five laws of library science.

Laws of library science

    1. Books are for use.
    2. Every reader his or her book.
    3. Every book its reader.
    4. Save the time of the reader.
    5. The Library is a growing organism.

Björneborn Laws of Web

    1. Links are for use - the very essence of hypertext;
    2. Every surfer his or her link - the rich diversity of links across topics and genres
    3. Every link its surfer - ditto
    4. Save the time of the surfer - visualizing web clusters and small-world shortcuts
    5. The Web is a growing organism
